History

In 1978, Konstantinos Sidiropoulos established his own workshop with field of acivity the repair and construction of agricultural and industrial machinery as well as pumping units. As years passed, the workshop organised with technical equipment, while providing more complete solutions for the customer with the disposal of a wide range of agricultural and industrial parts. Now, the workshop has passed into the hands of his son, Alexander Sidiropoulos under the distinctive title of the last years "Sidiros". Primary goal in the workshop is the high quality of the production, maintenance and repair of machines, while emphasis is given in the quality and selection of the finest raw materials, always preserving humaine and friendly character accompaning us from the day we opened.

Field of activity

Among the constructions of the workshop are included dripline collectors, screwcone log splitting machines, unwinding reel trailers for cables (wind generator farms) or water and oil pipes. During the business' many years course, valuable experience in surface pumping units and submersible pumps was gained. We market, maintain and repair pumps with responsibility using high quality parts. North-west Greece is a region of intense industrial activity from the power plants as well as from the numerous technical companies. Therefore we possess a wide range of mechanical and industrial equipment whereas we can meet any special construction demands. Sidiropoulos Alexandros

Alexandros K. Sidiropoulos was born in Ptolemaida on July 11, 1980 and grew up in a mechanics family. He is a graduate of Technological Educational Institute of Kavala Greece as a Construction Mechanical Engineer. During his internship, he worked at a technical company in the design and industrialisation of study plans department as well as in the supply and overseeing of production process department. He was involved in various projects such as: industrial metallic structures, olympic games projects for "Athens 2004" and in "TITAN" concrete company of Thessaloniki and Electric Power Company.

Connoisseur of electronic design applications combined with the experience he gained working in the Workshop, he is capable of designing and applying agricultural and industrial constructions. From 2007 up to 2010 he started studiousness and broadcasting of television show "Agrotechnia" which was aired in the regional television channel of North-West Greece, West Channel. The theme of the show broadens beyond agricultural field and expands through businesses of Greek region. The country folk still remain the primary cause while emphasis is given to the enviroment and problems of North-West Greece. The shows of major abroad agricultural exhibitions such as them of Hannover, Bolognia and Paris. People's interest begins to rise with the shows about photoboltaic parks, alternative crops, transmutation, scented oil production and more.

Sidiros

In September 2009, "Sidiros" company takes part in 25th Industrial Commercial and Agricultural exhibition of North-West Greece which took place in Kozani, with a complete presence in the exhibition site. The operating dripline collector as well as the reel cable trailers intrigue the audience. The field of operation of the company expands in all over mainland Greece and islands alike, while the suppliers are mostly within Greece but from the rest of the world too. We begin to export to customers in United Arabic Emirates and South Africa, while the online retail customers are increasing through our e-shop www.sidiros.gr from japan all the way to United Kingdom and Israel and most of the E.U countries and Balkans. The company's presence in the internet and throughout social media stands tall with a vast variety of agricultural and industrial merchandise and through innovative design constructions. One major objective is the creation of new facilities for the company, erection of which is expected over the new year.
