PFT206 Pressed steel triangular flanged housing unit pair suitable for UC206 ball bearing. Flanged assemblies are constructed as two pieces separable stamped steel housing with spherical bearing seat. They are generally used for light duty applications that require less critical mounting accuracy and rigidity compared to a cast flange. The spherical inside surfaces of each pair of flangettes mates with the spherical outside diameter of the bearing’s outer race to provide initial self-alignment in all directions. Pressed steel pillow blocks are an economical alternative while having greater shatter tolerance compared to heavier cast iron units.
